replace studs in exhaust manifold 700 1991

I understand that it is a given, these guys will get leaks between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe
just replaced the gasket and yet I feel the air
and get that pfff pfff pfff
it drives me nuts
I understand the only way to properly solve the problem is to repalce the studs on the manifold
any thoughts?
any tricks?
I hesitate, what if a stud breaks yikes
I believe they should be solid, does one need a stud remover?

I have no torches, was thinking of putting it intothe oven, then dip the studs in cool water
good idea, very bad????
