Water Pump bearing is shot, Going in, need advice 200 1986

Hello,

Well the noise under the hood was the bearing in the water pump. Caused all the belts to go in a matter of seconds during the drive to work. Bought new matched belts, new rubber gromments, and new hoses when this was found. When you spin the pully you really hear the squeak. So it is time to replace that and the clutch on the fan since it the original. Looking for tips and guidance on getting everything loose and back in place. It looks like the best thing to do is pull the radiator and then take remove the fan cowling. I will have the radiator checked for leaks and cleaned before it goes back on. Plan to for budget reasons to go back with a clutch fan.

Is this the best way to proceed, or is there some other way to get into this. What is the best way to remove the fan and pulleys from the shaft? And when going back together are there any gotchas to look for and double check?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

PT
