I'm having a bit of a problem with my sunroof in my '93 945. It's not yet raining here in California, so I'm not sure if the rain will be a problem, but I do have problems all of a sudden now when washing the car with just a hose (no drive through car washes). I've ruled out the problem being any drains. I pour whatever on the outside rail varying the slope of the car so the water would go to one of the four drains. All drains were clear and the water went out where it said it would in the FAQ without any problems.
The problem I seem to be having when washing the car is that water is getting on the inside of the track, where it shouldn't be getting. This causes the water to get trapped and leak into the cabin through the headliner. It's leaked through in both front (closer to the windsheild) of the front of the sunroof opening, as well as the back.
Anyone know what could be going on? I'm really at a loss, as all the drains appear to be working fine. The outside "seal" around the sun roof looks to be in great condition.
Thanks!
