Trouble Starting the 240 200 1993

From time to time my '93 240 has a bit of trouble starting. All my lights come on, but the motor just spins--doesn't catch.

Sometimes I can wait a few minutes and it'll turn over. But I've had to wait as long as 45 minutes before (thus making me late to work) before it'd turn over.

I've noticed that some of y'all have problems when it's damp, but it seems to be sunny here when this issue arrises.

Friends have said it could be anything from the starter, to the fuel, to the battery. However, none of these friends drive a Volvo so I'm asking HERE.

Suggestions, please?

Thanks :-)
