wheel bearing seals -- backwards 200

Hey, I just spaced out while replacing the front wheel bearings. I accidently installed the rubber seal the wrong way (flat side away from the bearing). I swear that's the way the old one was. Oh well. Anyone ever do this and did it have any affect? Should I pull the whole assembly and turn it around. My back is killing me so I really hate to do that....Thanks, Rob
