Effect of Low Compression on MPG 700 1989

Assuming that's the reading from cylinders 1-2-3-4, it looks to me like the head gasket is starting to blow between cylinders 2 and 3.

So rather than the engine being bad, it has a bad head gasket.

It's really not *that* big of a job to replace and the gasket sets, here anyway, are readily available and cheap.
