Prepare for minus 25 C!!!!!!

Generally, if your only issue is cold starts, first suspects are:
- your Engine Coolant Temperature sensor not accurately reporting the engine's temperature to the ECU
- you may have a lean fuel condition due to a vacuum leak
- your AMM may be out of spec and not accurately reporting intake air to the ECU

I have this problem on my '86 240. It also doesn't get good mileage. Only thing I haven't done is check fuel pressure. Since it's a PITA to get a proper fitting on the rail, I've decided to just replace the fuel pressure regulator (still original).
