Fuel Pump Motor & Sender Assy - SUCCESS ! 700 1992

Guys,

The install went as smooth as could be expected. The pump went in, the gasket seated back on the wiring connected, the fuel gauge working AND the car started on the FIRST crank !

I followed ALL of your suggestions and the FAQs right to the "T"

My neighbor from Newfoundland came over and was the "third" hand in helping to reseat the gasket after the pump was in the tank. Took two tries to get it to seat, no problem at all, the whole deal was done in leass than an hour. Would have been a little less but, it is a bit cold we had to come into warm our arses next to the wood stove.

There wasn't even an explosion, even though the wife was out in the driveway manning the fire extinguisher just in case me and the Newfie went up in flames along with the car.

Wooo Hooo ! This is GREAT ! Back to a Roadworthy Volvo status ! ;-)
