E-fan thermostat 200

I installed an e-fan from a 3.8 taurus but the thermostat probe from autozone which bends in to the top radiator hose and is clamped inside leaks no matter how hard I try to seal it. Looking for the cheapest install. What are you using for contols of your e-fan? I can wire practally anything so I am not concerened with level of difficulty. Thank You
