PCV freezing?!? S90-V90

Hi Pauli,

Hmmmmm, I thought it might be something like that with the PCV box :( I guess I'll have to leave it with my mechanic so he can take it apart and clean the system. I don't think the car has a blow-by problem as when it's warmer and the PCV is working properly there are no oil leaks, the engine has lots of power and it will consume around 1L (if I remember correctly) of oil in 8K km (5K mi). That seems pretty normal to me and hasn't seemed to change in the ~22K mi I've owned the car. Also, since I've owned the car it's been run on Amsoil 10W30 or 5W40 which is changed every 5K mi. When I bought the car at 80K mi there were absolutely no oil leaks and the engine appeared to be well maintained. Once I get this PCV thing figured out though, I will check for signs of blow-by. I may also check compression for the sake of doing it... Thanks for the experienced advise!
