pulling the head on a B230FT 700 1989

Hi again,

Sorry for the delayed reply. If you have the right tools, you can completely disassemble the head yourself. You'll need a valve spring compressor. As you said, the best scenario is to hand the machine shop a bare head. If you have access to a spring compressor, I could walk you through disassembly. As for the seals, you could do those with the right tools also. If you have never done this before, you may wish to have a shop do it. Anyway, let me know what else you need.
