142 engine swap- V6? 140-160

From what I can gather, those plastic feet used to break on the 240-940 also :)

Most of the European conversions I have seen involve Volvo's new straight 6, which I find too expensive over here.
Why not a small block V8, without a charger? Plenty of torque to break the rear wheels loose at 60mph. A pair of 4 barrel Holleys with a scoop in the hood. The super charger might require an offset radiator to make room for the pulleys.
