Screw size for idle screw on HS6 carb? 120-130

Howdy all,

I don't suppose anyone happens to know the size of the screw used for the idle adjustment on a SU HS6 carb? Apparently the oil I used didn't work so well preventing corrosion over the winter and I managed to snap one off. No biggie, except that backing out the remaining stub didn't go so well (snapped that too), which lead to drilling it out, which didn't go so well, which has lead to tapping it 10-32 and plugging it with a section of aluminum thread, which will now be drill and tapped appropriately, which means I now need to get the right tap.

Phew, that was a mouthfull.

Anyway the screw looks to be about a #6, but the neither of the standard pitches are right (not 32 or 40). It actually matches up fairly nicely to 38 tpi, but that doesn't appear to be a standard thread so maybe its metric? Maybe something like M3 or 3.5 x .6?

Thanks!

-aric.
