So what color is your coolant? S90-V90

Hello Bob,
Thanks for the response. I was concerned that the previous guy put in Walmarts antifreeze. So since I only got 6 quarts out from draining it, there is 4 quarts of the old stuff left inside of it. My concern then is mixing Walmart antifrezze with the good stuff.

Normally, I'd put in a back flush kit (at the heater hose) and back flush the entire engine. But, with a Volvo I've read that I should only use distilled water.

A couple of questions for you about the tranny flush:

o I thought that Mobil 1 ATF was synthetic?
o Do you know the torques to use on the: tranny drain plug and the cooler line fitting?

-------/

So far I've:

o Flushed the brakes.
o Changed the fire stopper and cleaned the hose.
o Drained and filled the antifreeze.
o Started the Auto-Rx oil flush.
o Changed the fuel filter.

To do:
o Flush tranny
o Do flush phase of the auto-rx oil treatment
o Put in new belts, water pump, etc.

Is there anything that I've missed??

Thanks for your help,
Stan
