Reminds me of a week-and-a-half long operation getting a lower A-frame pivot
bolt out of my 164 in Panama (where it rains every day for most of the year).
With jacks, hammers, a welding torch and a LOT of sweat we finally got it out.
The moral was - in areas you can't get to very well and that might be subject
to water entrapment, a lot of grease filling the entrapment space might be a
very good idea. Likewise in metal bushings some lube between the metal surfaces
will probably help get it together easier and may also make subsequent removal
easier.
