How often do you flush/drain after switching to syn ATF? 700 1989

Hi all,

Since knowing brickboard for a couple of years now, I've read only good comments on Mobil1 ATF and synthetic ATF in general. I've always wanted to try Mobil1 for my tranny but I wasn't able to get my hands on any till now.

I've done a flush before so the procedure is not new to me.

I'm planning to flush with Mobil1. The FAQ says the change interval for synthetic ATF is 120k km / 80k miles. One thing whilst searching the board was not much was said on how often does one drain with synthetic or whether it is necessary at all. I was wondering for those here that have converted to synthetic ATF what's your drain/flush interval with synthetic. Has anyone here brave enough left their Mobil1 in their tranny for 80k? Or do you do drain and refills after flusing to synthetic?

As always thanks
