Agree... Flush It 700

I also encourage you to do it yourself. Most shops want to do the flush with their "transmission power-flushing machine" -- completely unnecessary! As best as I can figure, these contraptions back-flush the system so that they clear the filter. The logic is that by using one of these systems, you don't have to drop the pan and do the service properly.

Well, AW trannies don't have filters, so they don't need this "cob-job" service.

Flushing the tranny on these cars is easier and cleaner than chaning the oil. Go for it!
