My 1980 volvo is having fuel problems and wont shoot fuel throught injectors 200 1980

The past week I have been working on my car to replace a blow head gasket, everything went well untill we hit the timing, a few days and we fixed the timing with help from these forums, thank you. But now the fuel injectors arent spraying fuel and we cant figure out why, they worked fine before we started the head gasket job, we replaced the relay, fuses and the fuel filter now we know the fuel pump is good because fuel is getting to the filter and past it. I dont think my injectors are cloged becasue for some reason they spray once when i first turn the key, why is that, and what is keeping them from spraying continuously? could it be the fuel distributor? Me and my buddys are stumped any help would be appreciated.
