240 92 Intermittent Stall at Idle 200 1992

Our 240 92 wagon automatic is stalling at idle. It never seems to happen until the engine is hot, usually never stalling until at least 20 minutes after initial start and never while moving. Typical times it stops is at stop signs and intersections...once stopping the car at an intersection the idle will start to waver once the break is applied. Light turns green, gas pedal is applied and the car dies, and at first will sometimes turn-over after 2-3 starts. Once this has started it gets progressively worse, until the car will not start up again. If I let the car sit for 5-10 minutes it will start again, and then everything is fine, and then if I hit a little traffic or intersection and take foot of gas and apply break the car will stall again at idle. The mechanics have replaced all the typical maintenance items, filters, fuel filters, cap/rotor, fuses etc. I have a suspision that it may be the jetronic.. I have purchased a replacement ECU but havn't swapped it out yet. Does anyone know what this sounds like? I have had several earlier model 240's and have often had this wavering idle issue with a once in a blue moon stall but never to the degree it is happening now with my current brick.
