Twin Cities, Afton MN. 244 for sale. 4 speed w/od. 144K miles. Clean interior, light blue cloth, no dents, all lights OK.
Probably for parts, owner wants it out of his yard. Older couple and her car. The car does not run anymore. The fuel pump does not pump, but it tried to start when he sprayed ether into the intake. Owner knows nothing about Volvos, and without a battery, I could not determine if the fuses were at fault or the pickup pump is bad.
The windshield has 2 cracks and needs to be replaced, the right rocker panel is gone due to rust as are both spare tire wells. The cat just fell off the down pipe when he towed it to a different part of the yard :) I did not see seat heater switches and the face of the glove box fell off.
It has 4 turbo (Volan) 15in wheels in very good condition, with ample tread. And there are 4 GL wheels in the barn with good winter tires mounted, also in very good condition.
Because of the rust and windshield, I will not "restore" this car. But, the owner really wants to get rid of it. $100 + another $100 for the wheels and it will become a very good parts car, or a winter beater!!!
