Carbs o' Fun - Performance Update 120-130

Sorry for not getting right back on this, I was out polishing brake calipers for my 240 rear upgrade. Complete waste of time - but pretty. Back to the thread.

The bushings were standard bronze bushings available at most bearing supply stores and were 1" in lenght. You'll never get the carbs to behave unless the throttle shafts are sealed. If you've got a spare you can live with, I'd send the others to Rhys or Joe Curto and have them eliminate the problem once and for all. If you are still wanting to do them yourself, then bore them out, press in the bushings, get new throttle shafts and make them perfect. Short of perfect = headache. I'm sure if you figure out your mileage and time spent, getting the pro's involved is pretty cheap.
