I agree with "heck". I had the same problems in my '61 Duett (yeah, last year of split rear windows!).
Summer was just fine.....fall/winter...the jolting hessitation on accelleration, stalling, etc.
Changed jets, hooked up the water heated manifold.

ahhh, nice toasty fuel! I didn't play with the emulsion tubes or air correctors, but I'm sure I could have gotten a bit better fuel economy if I had.


good luck with that. First step---heat the manifold!!!
