Replacing Engine Harness any thing to watch for? 200 1985

The hardest time I had when swapping out harnesses was running the alternator wires. Volvo runs them under the front of the engine, below the crank pully. Not only is it very dirty under there, it is a common spot for the wiring to fail. What some will do is extend the wires and run them along the passanger side fender to the alternator.

While the harness is out, it is a good time to clean out the oil seperation box and flame trap assembly.

Good luck!
