I went out this afternoon and looked under the 240. Since I still have the lower bellhousing cover off I could see the flexplate and torque converter. It looks like the problem is that the flex plate is pressed up against the rear of the engine block. I remembered to include the spacer when I reinstalled the flex plate to the engine. The torque converter looks to be flush up against the flex plate as well. Any ideas why this would be? I think this is the reason why the engine won't turn at all.
