I'm thinking of going vented front brakes on my '69 144S. I would like to use the front calipers from my parts 244 Turbo. From everything I have read I need to do a little machining and use vented 164 front rotors. I've seen that longer studs need to be used in the hubs on later 144s. Are the early and late 144 hubs the same? Will I need a set of 164 hubs or later 144 hubs with the longer studs?
