91 240 no-start - it was the CPS 200 1991

I posted ~ 2 weeks ago asking for help with a 91 245 I'd purchased as a no-start. I had juice to the coil but no spark.

The CPS had no continuity from any 2 terminals. The CPS wire was frayed just above the bellhousing and I broke the CPS bracket getting it out.

So I pulled the trans, bought a new bracket from a gent here, replaced the bracket and CPS, reinstalled the trans.

Had been sitting 3+ years. Fired right up, idled smoothly, no noise or smoke.

Thanks again to all for your help in diagnosing it.

(A couple of folks asked for the broken bracket. Remind me and I'll send it to you.)
