b20 transmisission in b18 engine 120-130

Yep. Unless you have a good reason to switch, just keep the bellhousing and clutch mechanism that came with the car. You can put either a B18 or a B20 in front of it, and either an early or late M40 or M41 behind it.

Although it might not actually be that hard to adapt a clutch cable to a 122, might be as simple as getting your hands on a 140 clutch pedal, drilling a small hole, and fabbing a plate to cover the master cylinder's hole.
