What you get for that 2nd Volvo? 200 1990

I have a few questions that may be answered by this Volvo intellectual crowd out there in cyber land. I have a 1990 244 that I love and plan on keeping but I would like a wagon and would like to stay with the 240 engine B230 engine. My choices are the 740 and 940. What would you suggest and what about turbo or not. Can you remove a turbo and still use the engine. What about the 850 and 960 pros and con. There seem to a lot of the 850 wagons out there. I know they are 5 and 6 cylinders respectively, but what about longevity and reliability.
