install a good used engine 200 1989

I'd go with the others in advising a good used engine. However the newest one you'll find is fifteen years old, and all bets are off as to it's condition, and if it's bad, well, you'll find a lot of labour that you'll have to duplicate.
What actually makes these cars unreliable is not the engine internally, but the externals like relays, wiring, and fuel pumps. And compared to many other brands they are unreliable. Tough, but unreliable.
