Adding a relay, where to hook up the hot wire 700 1989

I don't know about the 700 series, but if it has a junction box on the driver's front fender, then this is the place to get a great 12VDC power source. Pop the cover off the junction box, and find an empty slot. Use a female spade connector and heavy duty wire, and you have the power. I did this when I added the auxillary cooling fan on my 245, and it works great. I used the A/C clutch wire and made a tap for the relay trigger wire. When the A/C clutch is on, the fan is on.
