No start, long post 200 1988

My wires and the top of the sending unit on the '88 244GL were severely corroded when I took it apart last year. I put a good tested unit from a '91 244 from the PNP. Including new tank seal and hoses.

My '88 245 on the other hand; when I purchased it last year from a guy for $400 the gas guage wasn't reading at all. I pulled the cover plate and the harness came up with the plate. It had completely corroded and separated from the top of the sending unit meaning no in-tank pump and sending unit operation. So I knew what to look for.

BTW: No difference in power/starting between 1/4 tank and full tank of gas.
