Here is a dimensioned drawing of an adapter for fitting a 164/1800 dual MC to the 122 firewall.
The large circles represent a countersink for 5/16-18 flat head grade 8 socket screws, they must be sub-flush!
the smaller circles represent 5/16-18 threads. Use grade 8 bolts to attached the MC to the adapter too. The plate should be at least 3/8" thick and made from a mild steel for strength. You will have to fabricate a longer rod that goes from the brake pedal fork to the MC of the proper length, and adjust it properly.
