Bad Day!? Almost Very Bad. 1800 1971

Yes, this was an issue where all gears were lined up, but the dizzy-cam-oil pump gear was not at the proper angle. I simply lifted it, rotated the crank a few times, brought #1 back to TDC and confirmed that the dizzy gear was now correctly tilted relative to the block.

Last time I really worked on this engine, I still had problems getting everything to #1 TDC and I must have put the gear in a bit off.

Live and learn, then correct your past mistakes (if needed)....
