960 Runs fine, but idles badly at red light after Highway drive 900

This is a weird problem. The car runs perfectly. Idle perfectly driving around town. But, when I drive on the highway for about 30 minutes at 60-65 mph and when I exit and come to a red light the car stumbles all over the place, very bad idle. The idle corrects itself if I seat there more than 30 second or when I press on the gas to go.
Anyone has a similar experience?
