Ah now I remember why I haven't seen mention of it before. I assumed when I read that the b30 was a b20 with 2 more cylinders that everything else was a direct swap. Sometimes one has to wonder about the logic behind the manufacturing process as it seems simple enough to not have to retool. I will live with the automatic for a while longer. It has only 3500 miles on it since rebuild, but that was back in 1992. Only one way to find out how much longer it will last.
