OD prep questions 120-130

"And I have profitted handsomely from those who who have sworn on their wallets that they "will not forget and turn off the OD before reversing"." I agree entirely but thought I might offer up what I did many years ago when the lockout switch failed on my M41 into an M40 body conversion ('69 144S). I needed time to arrange for a space to work so in the meanwhile bypassed the switch but added a buzzer between the OD and reverse relays. In a later post on this thread you mention the speedo drive gears and I had the revelation that the later ('73-w/4.30 and limited slip) rear I'm putting in the '69 may make my speedo right again - or at least as right as they ever get. WOW! ----- Dave
