here is a weird one... 200 1993

you probably don't have one, so this is probably moot...

aftermarket oil pressure gauge.

I had one in a 140 and the cheap plastic gauge feed capillary tube broke on me. Made a real quick mess of things for sure.

Timing belt cover soaked.. on the outside? If so, that would lead me to believe it's a leak towards the front, and the fan is blowing the leaked oil all over the front of the engine. The oil pressure sender is fairly close to the front...

Dipstick "almost dry".. is that to say that was a drop of oil showing on teh bottom? If so, probably wasn't 3 quarts low... double check taht you didn't overfill, but if it's losing it that fast, probably doesn't hurt anyhow.
