Intermittent electrical problem 200 1986

Sorry about the multiple posts, but something else just came to me....
Most of the time I get all of the warning lights when I turn the key and get ready to start the engine.
Other times I will only get the oil light to come on.
As I said before, I have verified the exciter wire going to the alternator but could this possibly be a ground wire problem at the alternator?
Also, this really doesn't seem to be a charging problem since I can jump the battery...immediately shut the car off and then start it right back up.
I would like to fix this problem with the dash lights, as well, if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks again,
Dave
