Sunroof headliner question 700

If you are talking about the sliding inner liner, maybe the vent door part of it is sticking up a little bit, somehow and catching on something as it slides back. I'd pull it back forward almost fully closed, and watch carefully from the outside as I move it backwards. Make sure the vent opening is fully down as far as it is supposed to go. It might be down enough to get past the most likely hang up spot, which is when it is only about 1/4 pushed back, but still up enough to be hanging up on something as it goes back. Or maybe the hinges on it are sticking up, or maybe something from above (springs?) is hanging down and catching on the liner.
