Evap System shut-off valve code P0442 S90-V90 1998

Hello fellow V90ers!

I have a re-occuring Code P0442. I have borrowed a smoke pump and traced the source of the leak to a hose located near the driver side firewall and shock tower, connected through a solenoid valve to another hose which goes down in a round hole in the frame/subframe.
Does anyone know where is this hose going and what it is connected to and how I can replace it if it is broken?
I have been told that it goes to the shut off valve to the fuel tank, but I do not have a diagram or instructions about location and replacement .
Any help is greatly appreciated.
