93 240 rough idle 200

Hello,

93 240 had a very rough idle when I started it up this morning. The car literally shakes when I start it up, and stop at red lights, etc. The idle and overall performance of the car prior to today has been great. I've tried a few things to remedy the situation with little success:

-removed the AMM and cleaned with CMC mass airflow cleaner
-cleaned flame trap and hoses
-cleaned throttle

I noticed a couple of other issues but am unsure if they are related
-apparent excessve crankcase pressure. The last time I checked, there was slight vacuum at the oil addition cap. Today air is blowing out.
-Small amount of crud dripping from tailpipe.

A couple of other details...When idling, rough at ~900rps, If I disconnect the AMM and reconnect, the idle smooths out significantly, but increases to ~1400 RPMs. Also, no flash codes present. 1.2.1 showed up after I began tinkering with the AMM connection. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor all replaced recently and apparently still in good shape.

Do AMMs just die all of the sudden? is there something else i should be looking at? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
