heads 140-160

I have a set of R1's that I got in Adelaide several years ago. I have no idea what the Yamaha R1 engine would produce but would not be surprised if it was somwhere near 130BHP out of about 1000cc.
I unfortunately do not own the 45's and the guy who does was asking way too much money for what they are. It would have cost a large amount of money to jet them properly, money which I would rather spend elsewhere.
I don't have the K-jet set up to go with the engine I have, but do have a D-jet manifold and other bits to set it up eventually.
As I said I will get the engine going with the SU's and in the meantime work on either the R1's or FI set up using Megasquirt. The Oz $ is strengthening against the US $ so may go that way.
