OBD I code 2-4-1 EGR 700

I replaced it today. It is about a 4 mm vac hose. There is a nipple on the EGR valve that has the line attached to it and the other end connects about a foot away from the OBD (to that cylinder part that is grey). The line was severed at the EGR. As you know the EGR is under the intake. I used a long set of pliers that are curved on the end to remove the clip on the line. I put some new vac line in. And I did the vac line from the fuel pressure regulator back to the intake manifold. I cleared the codes and drove about 30 miles tonight and have not had the CEL turn back on.
