A/C bypass for 89 240?

I understand your question, and the short answer is no. The weasel word answer is yes. But there's nothing as snazzy as the one you're thinking of, and nothing you'd put in your mother's car. If you want a cheap idler, get a junkyard compressor and for goodness sake, leave the clutch wire disconnected until you're ready to fix the AC. OK, it's not your mother's car, then it just takes a little strongarm technique wheeling into a parking space until you get that PS pump turning again.
