Intermittent electrical problem - Where to start? S90-V90

The shift interlock not working is fairly common. Most likely it is the micro switch in the shift console. There maybe some discussion and instructions in the FAQ. You still might have to do some trouble shooting.

As for the blinkers, do you mean turn signals, or the 4 way flashers or both?

I would check your bulbs first, make sure all are working bulbs (not burned out), also check the bases to make sure all are making full contact.

If that fails, then the it could be the turn signal lever but more likely the flasher/relay built into the 4 way flasher switch, a very expensive item from a dealer.
