Just a pointer on checking the ball joints (and tie rod ends for that matter) --they sometimes will not show wear by prying them away from the attaching point--try using a large pair of water pump pliers to squeeze them from the top of the pin to the bottom of the joint in the case of the tie rods----and from the ledge at the lower end of the strut to the bottom of the control arm. The inner tie rod joint is checked by rocking the wheels side to side. There should be NO play at any of the joints. -- Dave
