So I checked pics of various offerings, and Bilstein site clearly showed a gold gland nut, and two flats at top of piston to provide anti-rotation.
This one turned out to be Bilstein anyway. I guess they changed things.
Black body, thus Touring I guess, but it was bent in the accident the car was in. Oh well.
The other is a KYB GR2. They are described as an orig equip replacement, with compensation for worn suspension. And magic dust.
They are also said to be a twin tube gas shock, with low pressure. The pistons do not rise like Gas-a-Just or Bilstein or other gas shocks, so that confuses me. Anyone know? I've been searching all over for more info and there is really little out there. The shocks clearly are not worn, they came apart easily with no corrosion etc.
