smog before or after O2 sensor change? 200 1990

Since my codes tell me I am running lean or rich (113, 121)....should I wait until after I have the O2 Sensor installed to smog or can I just go ahead and smog it Friday? The codes were cleared and it reads 1-1-1. No check engine light is on at this time, but I am certain it will be on in roughly two weeks.
