Common Issues? 200

The key difference between the LH 2.4 and the LH 3.1 is that 3.1 has a throttle position SENSOR, rather than a throttle position switch. This improvement provides approximately a 1MPG gain in economy as the ECU can adjust ahead of time before the O2 sensor screams foul.

I drive a 92 245 with LH 3.1 that used to be a manual, it now is an automatic. I only carry one "spare part" in the glove box, that is the fuel pump relay... don't leave home without a working spare, that goes for the LH 2.4 system as well.

Welcome aboard!

ps. I do have a spare ECU and AMM at home... primarily due to rarity, so far, they have been bulletproof at 309K miles!
