My view is.... 444-544

Adding some support here. The SU HIF is a direct swap for an HS6 and is an all round better carb. Should be no air leak problems. I'd suggest the K cam too as this will be about as torquey as an A cam in your big engine but rev out a lot better. I like the A cam too but it hits a brick wall at about 4k revs.
Other posts on various forums have indicated that Volvo parts for early engines are a bit thin on the ground and as mentioned, importing heavy parts gets expensive.
Oz not too far away though.
